KO-NINJUTSU
ART OF THE YOUNG NINJA

Ko-Ninjutsu is a complete system of self-defense principles that prepare children to effectively protect themselves in dangerous situations. This training based on the same innovative methods used by the Ninja warriors of feudal Japan.

The Ko-ninjutsu program is specially designed to meet the needs of growing martial artists while preparing them for training as an adult. Young Ninja are taught their self protection skills though a unique animal-based system. These animals are used as focal points that develop well rounded abilities that are designed to improve Strength, Flexibility, Stamina, Dexterity and Intellect.

Acrobatics are an essential part of the Ko-ninjutsu program. Due to their inherent flexibility, lighter bodies, and playful natures children are naturally gifted acrobats. In the Kurai Kotori system body awareness is developed by learning to negotiate obstacles or safely recover from a fall using graceful and unorthodox methods. Ko-ninjutsu students will learn a wide range of breakfalling, rolling, climbing, jumping, and springing techniques.

In addition to unarmed combat and acrobatic skills, Ko-Ninjutsu students are taught basic swordsmanship. This will prepare them for more advanced weaponry training as adults, teach respect and weapon safety, as well as further developing coordination and balance. While students are never allowed to engage another person with their sword, they learn basic cutting and footwork drills as well as sword kata, or forms.

KUNOICHIJUTSU
ART OF THE DEADLY FLOWER

The Kunoichi program teaches the art of the female ninja. These warrior-women base their training on surprise tactics and hidden weapons. A Kunoichi never wastes time or energy in combative situations. Their unarmed fighting and weaponry skills make use of strategically placed vital attacks that are designed to incapacitate their opponents very quickly. Ever-vigilant, the Kunoichi of the Kurai Kotori clan are never victims. Although they may choose to appear weak and helpless, it is nothing more than a clever ruse. In reality, the Kunoichi uses her outward appearance and conditioned emotional responses to manipulate those who would cause her harm.
